I received my education in Fashion Design from Blanche Macdonald Center in Vancouver, CAN. Upon completion of my program, I upgraded my skills at Kwantlen Polytechnic University to gain Pattern Drafting in GERBER C.A.D. This accelerated my career to gain a position as a Pattern Maker at Arc'teryx Equipment where I worked as the Pattern maker for Veilance. Working as a pattern maker prepared me with great knowledge and skills to transition into a Designer at Lululemon. I have been working at Lululemon as a Menswer Designer for 6 years designing core product groups of all categories for a range of activities.
My drive to innovate clothing with practical and functional beauty comes from my love of design and the creative process. Fueled by my enthusiasm for outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, and camping. Activities requiring the body to move uninhibited, and made better with comfort. I am skilled in steering the creative vision for briefed products, focusing on design and technical innovation across categories. Ensuring the entire team I work with is well-versed in category design objectives and will leverage consumer insights and market trends to guide the execution of category briefs through product design and brand identity. Additionally, I oversee the design process, managing costs to achieve financial targets and KPIs such as gross margin, style complexity, global consistency, and ultimately ensuring successful product sell-through. My in-depth knowledge of a global market from North America to Asia and Europe is sought after asset to international brands.
Other creative interests include artistic practices that display 3D understanding and poetic compilation such as; painting, pottery, and photography.
I strive to use my creative abilities to move my community forward. My goal is to encourage people to live a healthy and active lifestyle and to appreciate the simple gifts of life around us.
